On October 27, Holy Cross School participated in a Family Mass in our Church followed by a special Hispanic Heritage Celebration in the school gymnasium. During the Mass, students proclaimed the Word of God by serving as lectors, singing in the choir, and serving during the Offertory. The Hispanic Heritage Celebration brought together members of the community through art, music, dance, food, and prayer. Families admired the artwork made by students that showcased many facets of the Latino culture and contributions to society. A group of talented dancers gave a performance, while another student shared a special piece of artwork she made. Families enjoyed lots of tasty food while popular Latino music filled the air, courtesy of a DJ.
