On Tuesday, April 15, our seventh-grade students attended a brief tour and the Chrism Mass, a beautiful liturgy during which oils used in sacraments are blessed and consecrated for churches across the Archdiocese.
Read Cross Holy Cross is a schoolwide reading initiative that celebrates reading and comprehension. This event lasted from April 7-April 10 and was a week filled with books, a vocabulary parade, and various other fun activities.
The anticipated return of Catholic Schools Week has arrived. On January 26, 2025, Holy Cross School began their Catholic Schools Week celebration at the 12:30 Mass.
On Wednesday, January 22, students and teachers from grades Kindergarten - 8th gathered in the Church for a day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Children.
Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated from Sunday, January 26 - Friday, January 31. It is a time where the school community appreciates an education centered in Christ and reflects on our Catholic identity. Holy Cross School plans to participate by holding many exciting activities.
On October 27, Holy Cross School participated in a Family Mass in our Church followed by a special Hispanic Heritage Celebration in the school gymnasium.
On October 15, our 8th Graders took a special fieldtrip to Manhattan. There, they visited the Hayden Planetarium and participated in a special Eucharistic Procession held at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
