The celebration began with a special prayer service in Holy Cross Church in which students from all grades led the congregation in praying the rosary. Students even reenacted the story of Juan Diego and his encounters with Our Lady of Guadalupe and the bishop of Mexico. After the prayer service, a procession to the school's lobby commenced where students honored a donated image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. About 200 students gathered in the lobby where they raised their voices in praise, roses in hand. Watch a video of the celebration below.
