On Tuesday, April 15, our seventh-grade students attended a brief tour and the Chrism Mass, a beautiful liturgy during which oils used in sacraments are blessed and consecrated for churches across the Archdiocese. Students learned about the Oil of Catechumens, Oil of the Infirm, and Sacred Chrism. Students were able to gather and pray as well as appreciate such an essential component of the Catholic identity and the sacraments. To view photos from this event, click here.
